What was your favorite part of the wedding planning process?

Gabby: I definitely loved picking and planning out all the pretty details, such as flowers, overall floral design, linens, centerpieces, table decors, reception programs, etc., and taking bits and pieces of inspiration to make something of our own.  Brainstorming and finding decorative pieces to complete the theme of our wedding was definitely something I was able to enjoy because I didn’t have to worry about logistical planning: setup times, if that worked for the venue, just to name a few.. that was all taken care of by Kristen!

Ron:  I enjoyed choosing the songs that would play at different parts of the wedding.  It was fun being creative and trying to imagine how these songs would contribute to the overall energy of our reception.  Kristen made it easy to organize not just song selections, but also organizing small but important details for our wedding such as seating, floor plan layout, etc.

Why is having a wedding planner important to you for your special day?

Gabby:  Hiring a wedding planner was the best decision we made in planning our wedding.  My husband and I definitely wanted to be very hands on in the planning process, but we knew we wanted and needed some guidance along the way to make sure we were on track.  Having a planner as a resource was a big comfort for us because they can objectively see what potentially is missing and gave great feedback.  Because we worked with our planner from the beginning, we completely Kristen to take care of us and had already built a great relationship.  The week of our wedding we didn’t have to worry about who and how things were going to be setup, who would be the point of contact for vendors and the timeline was flowing accordingly.. we were truly able to enjoy our day because we didn’t have to stress or think about these things!

Ron:  Having a planner was important because we wanted the comfort of knowing that there was someone we could depend on to execute how we envision our wedding to be. We knew how stressful and overwhelming planning could be, but Kristen made sure we were prepared and lifted a lot of the responsibilities off of us as the wedding drew closer so that we were able to enjoy our time with family and friends who flew in.

What did you like most about your experience working with Kristen Moux Events?

Gabby:  From our first meeting Kristen, I noticed how attentive to detail and efficient she is.  She was really wonderful and “on-it” with everything even a year prior to the wedding, if we ever needed anything or had any questions, we could always count on them.  Even with rain on our wedding, Kristen Moux Events flawlessly moved everything to an even more gorgeous ceremony for my husband and I, it really was perfect.  There is so much that goes on behind the scenes, they took care of even the small details to make sure my husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day .  I could go on and on and rave about my experience but really, they made planning our wedding fun–Kristen and the whole team’s great interpersonal skills, knowing the wedding industry, efficiency, and innovativeness reassured us that everything was going to be beautiful for our big day.  We are so incredibly thankful!

Ron: I enjoyed how Kristen allowed us to be very hands-on with planning our wedding, but still provided invaluable support and advice that we would have never known. Kristen was very fun and easy to work with. Her team was completely in-sync and efficient on the day of the wedding. They made sure our transportation was on time, that things were working the way they should, and that all the smallest details weren’t forgotten. Kristen let us really enjoy every second of our wedding day.
