What was your favorite part of the wedding planning process?

I would say that my favorite part of the wedding planning process was seeing it all come together on wedding day and knowing that all the planning and time that went into it was well worth it.  That and dress shopping. 😀

Why is having a wedding planner important to you for your special day?

Having a wedding planner was important to us because we really wanted to enjoy wedding day and not have to worry about the little details.  Also, since I’ve never planned a wedding, I didn’t even know what kinds of details I would need to think about!   Before I even thought about making a schedule for the day, Kristen had already created a timeline that included all of my vendors and arrival times for our wedding party!  She took care of all the setup and coordination of vendors for the day and even strung up all my cranes!

What did you like most about your experience working with Kristen Moux Events?

I really appreciate that Kristen cares about us just as much as she cares about the wedding being a success.  Throughout the day she checked in with me to make sure I was hydrated or if I needed to take a break.  She went above and beyond the call of duty.  While my bridal party and I were getting ready in the hotel room, a champagne bottle that was accidentally put into the freezer , exploded!  There was glass and champagne everywhere.  Kristen quietly cleaned it up and it didn’t become a big deal.  That’s just one example of how having Kristen around really helped keep my stress level down.

What was your favorite part of the wedding planning process?

Planning a wedding is huge commitment. It was important to us to have a memorable day to not only ourselves but for our guests as well. Our to do list was overwhelming and we didn’t really know where to start. Hiring Kristen was the best decision we made! She made our goals more attainable through her planning expertise and organization. She made the overall experience more enjoyable for us and our families.

Why is having a wedding planner important to you for your special day?

It was so important for us to having a planner because we lived out of state. We wanted to have someone that we could trust to help us with all the details from beginning to end. We also wanted to be able to be present and live in the moment the day of and not let the stress get in the way of that.

What did you like most about your experience working with Kristen Moux Events?

What was your favorite part of the wedding planning process?

Gabby: I definitely loved picking and planning out all the pretty details, such as flowers, overall floral design, linens, centerpieces, table decors, reception programs, etc., and taking bits and pieces of inspiration to make something of our own.  Brainstorming and finding decorative pieces to complete the theme of our wedding was definitely something I was able to enjoy because I didn’t have to worry about logistical planning: setup times, if that worked for the venue, just to name a few.. that was all taken care of by Kristen!

Ron:  I enjoyed choosing the songs that would play at different parts of the wedding.  It was fun being creative and trying to imagine how these songs would contribute to the overall energy of our reception.  Kristen made it easy to organize not just song selections, but also organizing small but important details for our wedding such as seating, floor plan layout, etc.

Why is having a wedding planner important to you for your special day?

Gabby:  Hiring a wedding planner was the best decision we made in planning our wedding.  My husband and I definitely wanted to be very hands on in the planning process, but we knew we wanted and needed some guidance along the way to make sure we were on track.  Having a planner as a resource was a big comfort for us because they can objectively see what potentially is missing and gave great feedback.  Because we worked with our planner from the beginning, we completely Kristen to take care of us and had already built a great relationship.  The week of our wedding we didn’t have to worry about who and how things were going to be setup, who would be the point of contact for vendors and the timeline was flowing accordingly.. we were truly able to enjoy our day because we didn’t have to stress or think about these things!

Ron:  Having a planner was important because we wanted the comfort of knowing that there was someone we could depend on to execute how we envision our wedding to be. We knew how stressful and overwhelming planning could be, but Kristen made sure we were prepared and lifted a lot of the responsibilities off of us as the wedding drew closer so that we were able to enjoy our time with family and friends who flew in.

What did you like most about your experience working with Kristen Moux Events?

Gabby:  From our first meeting Kristen, I noticed how attentive to detail and efficient she is.  She was really wonderful and “on-it” with everything even a year prior to the wedding, if we ever needed anything or had any questions, we could always count on them.  Even with rain on our wedding, Kristen Moux Events flawlessly moved everything to an even more gorgeous ceremony for my husband and I, it really was perfect.  There is so much that goes on behind the scenes, they took care of even the small details to make sure my husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day .  I could go on and on and rave about my experience but really, they made planning our wedding fun–Kristen and the whole team’s great interpersonal skills, knowing the wedding industry, efficiency, and innovativeness reassured us that everything was going to be beautiful for our big day.  We are so incredibly thankful!

Ron: I enjoyed how Kristen allowed us to be very hands-on with planning our wedding, but still provided invaluable support and advice that we would have never known. Kristen was very fun and easy to work with. Her team was completely in-sync and efficient on the day of the wedding. They made sure our transportation was on time, that things were working the way they should, and that all the smallest details weren’t forgotten. Kristen let us really enjoy every second of our wedding day.

What was your favorite part of the wedding planning process?

Our favorite part of the wedding planning process was being able to work one-on-one with our AMAZING wedding coordinator! Kristen made sure that we had everything we needed and made us feel stress-free!

Why is having a wedding planner important to you for your special day?

In the beginning, my husband and I thought that we could have our wedding without a planner, as we were trying our best to stay on budget. However, we soon learned that having a wedding planner is vital! Our wedding planner helped us to get in contact with vendors that we had a hard time reaching, made sure that all of the things on the timeline went smoothly, and knew how to handle any situations that came up on the day of! Having our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made! 

What did you like most about your experience working with Kristen Moux Events?

We absolutely LOVED working with Kristen! One of my favorite things about Kristen is that she is so organized so I felt that I could rely on her for anything that came up! Kristen really made the wedding planning process as stress-free as possible and on the day of, I couldn’t have imagined my wedding day to be any better! Everything was perfect. 

What was your favorite part of the wedding planning process?

Besides our meetings with Kristen, our favorite part was definitely cake tasting at a Cake life. Initially, we had no idea where to get our cake from. We wanted something special and delicious! Kristen suggested a Cake life and we fell in love! Definitely the best part of wedding planning. 

2. Why is having a wedding planner important to you for your special day?

One of the most important parts of the wedding for us was making sure that our families did not have to set-up, clean-up, or worry at all about our wedding day. Our families are always helping others and we wanted to make sure that they did not have to lift a finger to celebrate with us. Kristen took on everything and made sure that the day went smoothly and covered for us in many ways. 

Overall, Kristen made sure that we had everything we needed and that every detail was discussed. Kristen was a great sounding board and kept us on track. Life does not stop when you’re planning a wedding. Things get hectic. So having another person look at your vendor contracts, seating charts, and guiding you when you have no idea what you’re doing, makes the whole process so much easier. Kristen was an essential part of our day and we could not have done it without her. 

3. What did you like most about your experience working with Kristen Moux Events?

Kristen is more than just a partner in planning your wedding. She truly cares about doing what is best for you and how you are doing as a couple. Kristen is hilarious and we would come out of meetings with her feeling better than when we walked in. Kristen always made us feel like our wedding was important and that we deserved to have the day that we wanted. Kristen commiserated with us over obstacles we were facing in our lives and gave us advice beyond just wedding planning. Kristen is like that friend who tells you how it is and says what you’re thinking but feel bad saying, which is so important in wedding planning. We appreciated that Kristen worked well with our vendors and really got things done when no one was responding to us.  Kristen is always quick to offer help and will take care of you. We are so grateful to have found an awesome wedding planner and super friend. 

We hope these answers are helpful. Liz: My favorite part of the planning process was all the little details. It felt like I was an artist, and the end result was my masterpiece. It also really helped having Kristen’s guidance when I couldn’t decide on something.

Why is having a wedding planner important to you for your special day?

Liz: Having a wedding planner is extremely important so you can enjoy YOUR day. So many things are going on at the same time, and it would be impossible for you to relax and tend to everything. There were also so many things that I didn’t even knew were involved in planning a wedding. Without hiring Kristen, I would’ve been a total mess!

What did you like most about your experience working with Kristen?

Liz: Working with Kristen Moux events was most enjoyable because I felt like I could completely trust her. She is very organized and experienced in what she is doing. I left everything in her hands, and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome!

What was your favorite part of the wedding planning process?

Marie: My favorite part was the day I got to meet with the vendors. Seeing and visualizing everything come together made it all seem real. I got really excited! Before this day, everything was just gathered off of Pinterest and emails. It was so fun to see it all personalized for us and our dreams!

Jon: My favorite part is that I didn’t have to do much!

MOB: Ooh – I loved meeting with Kristen and Naomi at Les Saissons. They are wonderfully creative ladies who were both such pros at pulling together the look my daughter wanted!!  That was great fun.  But I have to say that my favorite part was the celebration itself and being able to enjoy it and know that there was somebody I could really trust to be taking care of all the one million little things so that I could focus on family and guests.

Why is having a wedding planner important to you for your special day?

Marie: I was feeling overwhelmed with how many photographers, and florists, etc. I didn’t know how to choose from the millions. Kristen had a great list and wonderful resources. I couldn’t have planned everything so far away, and having a planner took the stress away from the whole thing and made it simply enjoyable. She helped me stay within my budget and gave me a good timeline of when things should get done.

Jon: A wedding planner was important, because you actually get to enjoy yourself. You’re not caught up worrying about anything.

MOB: A wedding can involve a lot of potential slippery slopes–external ones (vendors, a million decisions to make, last minute tweaks and changes to negotiate, etc.) and internal ones (daughter desires vs. parental budget–haha). I simply don’t know what we would have done without Kristen!!  She helped us every single step of the way and was always there as an oasis of calm to guide us or offer a welcomed hand, eye or shoulder, while never imposing her ideas. She had a lot of great suggestions for vendors and all the important little things, she happily tossed out ideas to inspire us when we got stuck, and she was always reachable when things came up. Most of all, I feel like we gained a friend!

What did you like most about your experience working with Kristen?

Marie: What I liked most? I can’t choose one… Kristen was one of the most organized professionals I have ever come across. She had every picture I sent to her, and every important email printed in a binder. When I was all over the place, she was able to help me really focus, but in a fun way.  She is extremely creative, more than I could ever be. I liked her suggestions and was able to pick and choose what I wanted for the wedding. Lastly, she really went above and beyond. I felt as though she truly cared about us and our special day. It’s easy to plan, and give numbers of vendors, but I felt like I was talking to a close friend. When I asked for her honest input, she gave it to me. She also listened when Jon said he was disappointed that he didn’t get to try any wedding cake, she had the reception hall set some aside for him to try the next day. What other planner would go that extra length? We are so happy with the outcome of our special day, and owe a huge portion of those thanks to Kristen Moux Events.

Jon: She never stressed out, and handled everything very calmly.

MOB: KRISTEN!!  She was fabulous!!  If I were to come up with a list of adjectives, they would have to include:  classy, warm, fun, open, always upbeat and positive, super organized, consistently on top of things, and able to pull it all off without a hitch!  Big hugs and kisses to Kristen for helping to create the wedding my daughter dreamed of and for keeping everyone smiling along the way!
